According to this article librarians need to prepare their libraries for the current shift in technology that is happening. There are three icebergs that may hinder the success of librarians: 1) keeping a collection "just in case" it is needed; 2) not teaching patrons how to use technology; 3) focus on bringing services to patrons instead of expecting patrons to seek us out.
